Bring Your Bedroom Alive with Poster Store*

Renovating your home can be exciting yet stressful at the same time. Especially when it comes to your bedroom. Where do you even begin?

Our bedrooms are our sanctuary, where after a long hard day we come to relax and destress ourselves. Speaking for myself, as soon as I put Miss A down to bed, whether that’s at 7pm or 8pm, you will then find me in my bedroom, with either a book in my hand or binging on my favourite tv show.

Coming into a bedroom that doesn’t lift up your mood or that adds to the clutter in your mind isn’t great.

Making a simple change or addition can make such a big difference.

When deciding to makeover my bedroom, I knew instantly that I wanted to add prints to my walls. I went for plain white walls purely so my bedding and wall art can stand out.

WHO ARE POSTER STORE

Poster Store was founded in 2016 by two brothers, Oskar and Tobias Renlund with the aim that art should be affordable and available to everyone and they’ve done just that.

The website has a range of stylish and most importantly affordable Prints and Frames available to help create your perfect gallery wall. What attracted me about Poster Store was the availability of different frames, finding the right frame for your prints is always a struggle but with Poster Store that’s covered.

They are also doing their bit to help the environment too. All posters are printed on sustainably produced high quality paper! How amazing is that?

WHAT DID I CHOOSE

Hand on heart, I was honestly spoilt for choice. It took me a very long time to decide what I wanted purely because of the beautiful and extensive collection that is available.

The best thing about the website is that it is so easy to navigate, I preferred that the prints were split into each themed category which meant that it was easy to find what I was looking for.

In the end, as I was choosing for my bedroom, I decided that I wanted prints that would take me and my mind away elsewhere. Away from the hustle and bustle of the day to day life. To somewhere where I’d feel refreshed before switching off for the day.

What better place than the calm of the beach and the glistening of flowers. I went for the following trio.

THE BEACH

There were many picturesque beaches to choose from but this one caught my eye. I loved the colour contrast and how the picture was set with a bridge towards the beach. Giving me a feeling like I was walking to the beach myself.

DREAM

Well, this is pretty much self explanatory, don’t you think?

PEONIES

Who doesn’t love peonies? They’re aesthetically pleasing and smell ever so good. Flowers, in general, always bring a smile on your face.

I couldn’t just stick to three prints and also chose the following.

The wording really touched me as it perfectly describes my daughter and me. We’ve been through a lot in the past couple of years but have always made it through because we have each other.

I’m going to keep this print safe and whenever I’m in the mood for a change I will swap the prints around above our bed along with a picture of us at the beach.

Is it obvious, we love the beach?

KIDS ROOM

Poster Store also have a wide range of selection of prints perfect for your little one’s nursery, bedroom and playroom. As we’re in the middle of renovating the playroom, I chose two of the following prints.

I love educational play so these were just perfect. Keep an eye out as I’ll soon be doing the big playroom reveal and you’ll be able to see these up in their full glory.
