We have entered that time of the year when everyone is looking back at the year and thinking of what’s to come. Admittedly, when I look back on the goals I set myself for this year even though they had been achievable, I probably should have made more of an effort, you can read them here in more detail but today I will be reflecting on whether I achieved them or not and why.
I will go through the goals one by one.
Organisation
I had gotten myself a planner thinking it would help me to be better organised and for most part of the year it did but then laziness kicked in and I totally forgot that I even owned a planner. I just wanted to make sure I had my personal, professional and blogging life in order but I really could have done much better. All I needed was to be proactive and I’m sure this will be at the top of the list of goals again for 2020.
I don’t even want to think about this… forget reading books, I don’t think I’ve even read much blogs this year either. Again, time management and pure laziness (sigh).
I can proudly say that majority of the year, I have made the bed.
‘This is with regards to our kitchen/lounge area. Waking up to a nice and tidy kitchen and room in the morning just gives you that lovely feeling doesn’t it? I’ve started making more of an effort towards the end of the year and I hope to continue. Honestly speaking, I don’t want to be dealing with extra mess when I want to be getting ready for work!’
The one that got away…. again.
‘To keep on blogging but also not to put myself under pressure. Whether that means cutting down the number of posts I post in a week, taking a break when need be and anything! Blogging is my escape, I don’t want it to become a chore as then it’s no longer fun and I’m not here for that.’
‘This is in terms of Instagram in particular, I want to make some effort in the pictures I take and post – I like a bit of a challenge and want to see what I can do.
